this is a map of lovely chicago heights, Ill Noize, as depicted by the person who first inspired me to pay more attention to maps - the first in my collection. i particularly like all of the trainyards and industrial wasteland, and offhand commentary on the class divisions/segregation present in this south suburban chicagoland community.  the red marker just above the square box entitled "chez ryan" is the house where he spent most of his years and would prefer NOT to return to...click on link for a very appropriate photograph.
