this map was drawn by the same good friend who inspired me to collect maps in the first place. these are directions from his home in chicago heights [first map on main page] to the northernmost neighborhood in chicago, rogers' park.

of course he only needed to draw the direct route to the destination, but in his own characteristic way he goes all overboard and provides "the big picture" by including every main expressway in the chicagoland area. another masterpiece added to my collection of ryan-maps.
