although this may look confusing to navigate, one quality that is inherent
to maps (especially written on napkins) is the narration that happens
every time a new mark is drawn; the explanation
which accompanies the
physical drawing of it. they carry with them the conversation
that took
place at the location they were created, so this
map indeed made sense.
in this case, the situation was me being cheered up at the earwax
cafe in chicago by a beautiful friend who recently moved to new york.
